Booking Services Policy

This Booking Services Policy applies to all service appointments, inspections, consultations, installations, repairs, O&M visits, and AMC services booked through www.szwaterlinks.com, by phone, or via email with SZ Waterlinks Pvt. Ltd.


1. Service Booking Confirmation

A service booking is considered confirmed when:

  • You complete the booking form on our website,

  • Or you confirm the booking through WhatsApp/email/phone,

  • And SZ Waterlinks acknowledges the booking by sending a confirmation message.


We may request additional information such as:

  • Site location

  • Access permissions

  • Technical details (STP/ETP/WTP/RO capacity, issues, photos, or videos)

  • Preferred service time

2. Service Charges & Advance Payment

Depending on the service type, the following may apply:


A. Inspection / Site Visit Charges

A standard inspection fee may apply for:

  • Troubleshooting STP/ETP/WTP/RO issues

  • Preparing quotations

  • Compliance audits

  • Technical assessments


This fee is non-refundable and must be paid before the visit.

B. Advance Payment for Service Bookings


For repairs, O&M, or installation work:

  • A minimum advance of 30–50% of the total estimated cost is required.

  • Work will be scheduled only after receipt of advance payment.


3. Scheduling & Rescheduling

We strive to schedule service appointments at the earliest availability.

Rescheduling Conditions:

  • Rescheduling is allowed once, if requested at least 12 hours before the scheduled visit.

  • Requests within 12 hours may incur rescheduling charges due to technician allocation and logistics planning.

4. Cancellation Policy

A. Customer-Initiated Cancellation

  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of booking (and before technician dispatch) may be eligible for a partial refund after deducting administrative charges.

  • Cancellations after technician dispatch or mobilization will not be refunded.
     

B. Company-Initiated Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Emergency site issues

  • Technician availability

  • Unforeseen operational constraints
     

In such cases, we will promptly communicate a new schedule.
 

5. On-Site Requirements

To ensure smooth service delivery, the customer must provide:

  • Site access and authorization

  • Electricity, water, and basic utilities required for testing

  • Safety clearances (if applicable)

  • Updated contact information for site coordination
     

If the site is not accessible or ready:

  • The visit will be marked as “Attempted – Not Completed”

  • Additional charges may apply for a re-visit
     

6. Scope of Work

Before commencing work, SZ Waterlinks will:

  • Identify the issue

  • Explain the required repairs or service

  • Provide an estimated cost (if not pre-approved)

  • Obtain customer approval
     

Work will only begin after customer consent.
 

7. Warranty on Services

Warranty varies by service type:

  • Basic repairs: 7–30 days (depending on nature of work)

  • Parts replaced: As per manufacturer warranty

  • O&M services: No warranty, as performance depends on daily operations and usage
     

Warranty is void if:

  • Unauthorized personnel tamper with the system

  • Recommended parts or services are declined

  • System is misused or operated contrary to guidelines


8. No-Show or Delayed Arrival

If a customer is unreachable or unavailable at site:

  • The booking will be marked No-Show

  • Revisit charges will apply
     

If the technician is delayed due to operational reasons:

  • We will notify the customer promptly
     

9. Service Completion & Reporting

After completion, customers will receive:

  • Service report (digital or physical)

  • Billing summary

  • Recommendations for future maintenance
     

For AMC/O&M customers, records may include:

  • Daily logs

  • Test reports

  • Compliance documentation

  • Preventive maintenance updates
     

10. Limitation of Liability

SZ Waterlinks is not responsible for delays or failures caused by:

  • Inaccurate information provided by customer

  • Pre-existing system defects

  • Power failures, water shortage, or hazardous site conditions

  • Third-party equipment malfunction
